Refurbished Motorola V3 Razr phones

I have a question about a Motorola Razr V3R that I purchased from an authorized cell phone dealer in my neighborhood.

I noticed a green colored dot underneath the battery on the phone right next to the sim card area where the sim card goes in. I am wondering if the green dot indicates that it is a refurbished phone because if it is than I am wondering if it is even worth it to even bother with getting the phone repaired and to to just get a new razr phone. Also when I initially looked up the warranty info on motorola.com it said that it expired a year ago.

Also the moisture indicator which is the white circle on the inside of the phone is still white so I know the green dot isn't related to that.
